What is the CiteVahti MCP Server?

CiteVahti exposes local citation-support review tools for manuscript claims, with provenance records and a human-first rating workflow.

Check whether a source supports a claim

CiteVahti helps organize citation-support review rather than merely checking whether a citation exists. Its workflow separates human rating, AI assessment and adjudication, and retains provenance for the decision. It can search research sources and coordinate a local review ledger with a companion panel.

Connect the constrained agent server

The Python package has an MCP extra and a citevahti-mcp entry point. Stdio is the default; an optional HTTP route binds to loopback. Select the project root explicitly so the assistant opens the intended .citevahti ledger. Desktop bundles provide another installation route and are distinct from a general hosted connector.

Review one claim end to end

Use a short claim with a cited source you can inspect. Complete the human-first rating, compare the AI assessment with the source passage and record the adjudicated outcome. Zotero write-back is decision-gated and should be checked in the target library. An assistant's explanation is evidence to review, not an independent guarantee that a claim is valid.
