Qwen3.8 Omni Flash understands text, images, audio and video and returns text for offline multimodal analysis.
An input-rich, text-output interface
This managed Omni route accepts several types of evidence in one workflow. The current Model Studio documentation describes a one-million-token offline context, tool use, web search and prompt caching. The output interface is text: audio understanding does not by itself mean this endpoint synthesizes speech. The separate realtime route has a different streaming interaction model.
Useful tasks
Try summarizing a recorded meeting alongside its slides, answering a question about a video sequence or extracting information from a spoken instruction and a supplied image. Make the expected answer depend on the actual inputs. Check quoted names, times, quantities and the relationship between visible events and spoken descriptions. Include a case where the audio and image disagree, so the evaluation reveals whether the assistant distinguishes evidence from assumptions.
Integration choices
Use the API and region enabled for your workspace. Chat Completions and Responses examples have different message shapes and tool workflows; follow the chosen interface throughout a conversation. For long files, record preprocessing, sampling and any clipping before interpreting an answer. Keep billing units for audio and video separate from ordinary text-token figures unless the selected route explicitly defines their conversion. Test your own file sizes and concurrency, since a headline context allowance alone does not describe upload limits or end-to-end processing time.
