What is the Ansvar EU Regulations MCP Server?

Ansvar’s EU Regulations MCP integration provides reference access to its EU regulation corpus through the hosted gateway. The official registry lists https://gateway.ansvar.eu/eu/mcp for this integration. Follow the publisher’s current setup instructions for OAuth and account access.

Start with a defined source question

Name the regulation and the article or topic you need. Request the underlying source citation as well as the returned text. Before comparing provisions, check which instruments and versions the corpus covers; access to a search result does not establish that all related legislation is included.

The standalone repository has moved

The former EU Compliance MCP repository explicitly marks its standalone implementation as retired. Its notice says the corpus moved into the Ansvar MCP fleet and that the gateway now serves the fleet deployment. The older repository remains useful for understanding that history, while current content and fixes belong to the fleet.

Use the gateway setup guide rather than treating the archived local package as the current recommended installation. The registry and the old repository can describe different delivery paths during a migration.

Check the returned reference

Review the cited source, date and coverage before using a result in a broader research workflow. The corpus is a reference integration; interpretive mappings and generated responses should be checked against the relevant source text.
