LongCat Flash Lite is a non-thinking sparse language checkpoint with an n-gram embedding table for coding and agent workloads.
The specification score summarizes recorded features and limits. It is not a benchmark result.
Recorded modality support shows what this model can accept and produce. An undocumented modality is shown as unknown rather than assumed to be unsupported.

LongCat Flash Lite is a non-thinking sparse language checkpoint with an n-gram embedding table for coding and agent workloads.
Flash Lite has 68.5B total parameters and approximately 3B active parameters according to the model card. It uses a large n-gram embedding table alongside sparse experts. The release is non-thinking, so it is a candidate for applications that prefer direct responses without a separate reasoning stream.
The model card describes a 256K context through YaRN. Follow that serving configuration rather than inferring usable context solely from a configuration file’s position field. The embedding table accounts for a substantial part of the weights, making total memory planning important even though few experts activate per token.
Use a support lookup, a code modification and a long-history tool exchange. Check whether the model follows the complete instruction, uses supplied tool results and avoids repeating completed actions. Include response length and retries in the comparison, since concise output is valuable only when the task is finished correctly.
Use the checkpoint’s chat template and a serving implementation that supports its n-gram component. The MIT licence applies to weights and source. A later Sparse variant changes the attention implementation and context support; it should be evaluated as a separate deployment choice. This local checkpoint does not define a managed token price, so hardware, concurrency and operating costs need a separate estimate.
Compare the model on the work you need to complete.
LongCat Flash Lite is listed for Text generation. It accepts text and produces text. Use the publisher’s input format and preprocessing for your chosen deployment.
Documented limits: 262.14K context. Measure a completed task using the prompts, documents and tools your application will use. Include reasoning and retries in the result.
The weights are downloadable under MIT. Check runtime support and size the complete model and working context for your expected concurrency.
These records share a directory category. Check the source card, output type and deployment requirements before treating a model as a replacement.
