How do I configure the API key?

Set the `OPENROUTER_API_KEY` environment variable, or create a single-line key file at `~/.api-openrouter`.

What database is used?

SQLite by default. The database file path is configurable via the `DATABASE_FILE` environment variable (default `dialogs.db`).

What credentials does it need?

It reads `OPENROUTER_API_KEY` from the environment. Store these in your client's env block or a secrets manager — never commit them to a repository — and grant the narrowest scope that still covers your use case.
