Real-time fact-checking MCP. Verifies claims against live sources with structured verdicts.
Real-time fact-checking MCP. Verifies claims against live sources with structured verdicts. The verity mcp server wraps that behind the Model Context Protocol, so an assistant can use it through 4 defined tools rather than through you.
Real-time fact-checking and data freshness agent. Verifies claims, URLs, and content against live web sources. Returns structured verdicts with confidence scores, what has changed, and supporting sources.
Setup follows the usual MCP pattern — install or clone the server, register it in your client's configuration file, restart the client. The configuration blocks on this page cover the common clients.
Everything the assistant can do here goes through one of these:
verity_verify — Verify a claim or URL against live sourcesverity_deep_check — Multi-angle thorough verificationverity_batch — Verify up to 10 claims at onceverity_agent — Natural language fact-checkingYou will need one environment variable: VERITY_PRIVATE_KEY. The server will not start without them, which is usually why the tools fail to appear on a first run. Keep credentials in your client's env block or a secrets manager rather than in a file you might commit.
This sits in the developer tooling group, where several servers overlap in what they claim to do but differ sharply once you actually set them up. Verity's toolset — verity_verify, verity_deep_check, verity_batch and 1 more — is a fair guide to whether it matches your workflow. It is maintained by Clawdio777; worth a glance at recent repository activity before you build anything load-bearing on it.
We check each listing at SyncDev against the project's documentation before it goes live — if something here drifts out of date, it is a bug worth reporting.
