How do I obtain Pocket API credentials?

Create a new app at the [Pocket Developer Portal](https://getpocket.com/developer/apps/new), then follow the authentication process to get your Consumer Key and Access Token. Detailed instructions are in [Issue #2](https://github.com/kazuph/mcp-pocket/issues/2).

What MCP tools does this server provide?

Two tools: `pocket_get_articles` (fetch saved articles with title, URL, and excerpt) and `pocket_mark_as_read` (archive an article by its item ID).

What credentials does it need?

It reads `POCKET_CONSUMER_KEY`, `POCKET_ACCESS_TOKEN` from the environment. Store these in your client's env block or a secrets manager — never commit them to a repository — and grant the narrowest scope that still covers your use case.
