Connect assistants to PagerDuty incidents, services and on-call schedules using the maintained hosted MCP server and its documented account authentication.
PagerDuty’s hosted MCP server gives assistants tools for operational incidents, services, teams and on-call schedules. It replaces the deprecated self-hosted project as the maintained connection recommended in PagerDuty’s documentation. Reading incident context and taking a response action remain separate tool operations.
Identify the incident and retrieve its current state, affected service and response context. Keep the incident identifier and timestamps with a handover so later readers can distinguish current status from earlier observations. Inspect the responsible team or on-call schedule when deciding who owns the next step.
The standard endpoint is https://mcp.pagerduty.com/mcp; EU accounts use the documented EU endpoint. PagerDuty supports API-key and OAuth options but currently does not support dynamic client registration. Follow its credential instructions for the client and scope the connection to the operations the account should perform.

Check the linked publisher documentation and your connected client's tool list. Names and availability can vary with the server version and account permissions.
