What is the Nhost MCP Server?

Nhost is an MCP integration. Let your users work with their own data through an AI assistant, limited to what they can see.

Packages and local setup

The published oci package is docker.io/nhost/mcp:0.3.0. Its declared MCP transport is streamable-http.

The package declares MCP_GRAPHQL_ENDPOINT (required): GraphQL endpoint of the Nhost project the server exposes, e.g. http://hasura-service:8080/v1/graphql; MCP_AUTH_URL (required): Nhost Auth URL used as the OAuth2 authorization server, e.g. https://SUBDOMAIN.auth.REGION.nhost.run/v1.

This package has launch arguments in its registry record. Use the maintainer’s configuration for those arguments rather than launching it with only the package name.

Before connecting

Check the maintainer’s instructions for account access, authentication and the supported client configuration. Once connected, inspect the tools your client receives and try a small task that matches the server’s stated purpose. The registry description does not include a verified, complete tool list.

Project and source
