WhatsApp automation platform with 120+ tools for AI chatbots, messaging, and more.
WhatsApp automation platform with 120+ tools for AI chatbots, messaging, and more. Exposed over MCP by the neuron mcp server, that capability becomes something an assistant can invoke while it works, not something you go and do afterwards.
Neuron is an AI-powered WhatsApp automation platform. This MCP server exposes 120+ tools that let AI coding assistants — Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible clients — manage your entire WhatsApp business programmatically.
Being a remote server, there is no local install. You register the endpoint with your client, authorise it once, and the tools appear.
Everything the assistant can do here goes through one of these:
Category — ToolsAuthentication — 8Conversations — 11Contacts — 12Channels — 17Broadcasts — 7Campaigns — 14Newsletters — 8Webhooks — 8Blog — 6Organizations — 7Marketplace — 8You will need 2 environment variables: NEURON_AUTH_TOKEN, NEURON_API_URL. The server will not start without them, which is usually why the tools fail to appear on a first run. Keep credentials in your client's env block or a secrets manager rather than in a file you might commit.
This sits in the team communication group, where several servers overlap in what they claim to do but differ sharply once you actually set them up. Neuron's toolset — Category, Authentication, Conversations and 11 more — is a fair guide to whether it matches your workflow. It is maintained by conquext; worth a glance at recent repository activity before you build anything load-bearing on it.
We check each listing at SyncDev against the project's documentation before it goes live — if something here drifts out of date, it is a bug worth reporting.
