The official TypeScript library for the Morphik API
Most developer tooling work still happens through a UI a human drives. Morphik MCP server moves it into the conversation instead. The official TypeScript library for the Morphik API.
This library provides convenient access to the Morphik REST API from server-side TypeScript or JavaScript.
The server publishes 3 tools. What each one is for:
Retries — Certain errors will be automatically retried 2 times by default, with a short exponential backoff. Connection errors (for example, due to a networkTimeouts — Requests time out after 1 minute by default. You can configure this with a timeout option:Logging — The Logging tool exposed by this serverInstallation goes through your MCP client rather than a global install: point it at git on npm and it is fetched when the client starts. The copy-paste blocks for Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor are further down this page.
Configuration is passed through the environment: MORPHIK_API_KEY. Treat anything key-shaped as a real credential — scope it to the minimum the server needs, and rotate it if it ever lands in a shared config.
TypeScript >= 4.9 is supported. The following runtimes are supported: - Web browsers (Up-to-date Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and more) - Node.js 20 LTS or later (non-EOL) versions. - Deno v1.28.0 or higher. - Bun 1.0 or later. - Cloudflare Workers. - Vercel Edge Runtime. - Jest 28 or greater with the "node" environment ("jsdom" is not supported at this
Among the developer tooling options, the useful question is rarely "what can it do" but "what does it cost you to run" — permissions, credentials, and how much of your context its toolset consumes. Morphik's toolset — Retries, Timeouts, Logging — is a fair guide to whether it matches your workflow. It is maintained by morphik; worth a glance at recent repository activity before you build anything load-bearing on it.
This entry was verified against Morphik's own documentation before publication; SyncDev keeps the directory reviewed rather than auto-generated.
