Flyto2 Indexer gives assistants local code search, change-impact analysis and verification workflows through its Python MCP server.
The indexer builds a local map of code and exposes search, impact, audit, task and structure tools. Use search to locate the relevant symbol, then impact to inspect references before a rename or signature change. Task workflows add planning, gates and validation around a requested implementation.
The documented server runs over stdio without a Flyto2 account. A source checkout uses python -m src.mcp_server; an installed package uses python -m flyto_indexer.mcp_server. Configure the working directory and executable for the repository you intend to analyze. Optional HTTP bridging is a separate connection path.
Start with a symbol whose callers you know and compare the returned references with the source. Index freshness affects the answer, so refresh the map after meaningful changes. Verification results describe the checks actually run; a passing gate is not a claim that every behaviour in the application was tested. Use the generated tool reference for names and schemas instead of guessing granular tools.
Check the linked publisher documentation and your connected client's tool list. Names and availability can vary with the server version and account permissions.
| Tool | What it does |

| impact | Inspect the impact of a symbol or proposed diff. |
| audit | Collect quality and security findings. |
| task | Run planning, gate and validation phases. |
| structure | Inspect repository APIs, dependencies and conventions. |
| verify | Run the documented implementation verification workflow. |
| verify_workspace | Verify workspace-level evidence and checks. |
