The server converts a local Markdown file or supplied text into Feishu document blocks. It can render Mermaid diagrams into images, upload local image references and preserve common structures such as code blocks, lists and tables. A separate update tool appends to or replaces an existing document.
The nested MCP package documents an npx stdio launch and the FEISHU_APP_ID and FEISHU_APP_SECRET variables. Configure the app’s document permissions and destination access in Feishu before trying an upload. Local images are resolved relative to the supplied file or configured base path, so an incorrect path can leave a document incomplete.
For an update, verify the target document URL and the intended mode. Replace can overwrite the existing content; append adds to the end. Start with a test document containing a heading, table, code block, Mermaid diagram and local image, then compare the rendered result with the source.
The project describes chunked uploading for large Markdown and optional ownership transfer. Check the owner and folder after creation rather than assuming the document lands in the intended workspace. This is a community integration maintained in the linked repository and uses MIT licensing.
