Untappd MCP Server

Untappd is an MCP integration. MCP server exposing Untappd API tools for AI agents — full v4 read API coverage.

Packages and local setup

The published npm package is untappd-mcp-server, version 2.0.1. Its declared MCP transport is stdio.

The package declares UNTAPPD_CLIENT_ID (required): Untappd API Client ID; UNTAPPD_CLIENT_SECRET (required): Untappd API Client Secret; UNTAPPD_ACCESS_TOKEN: Untappd OAuth access token — unlocks the friend feed tool, user-scoped rate limits, and richer /user data. Optional: can instead be obtained interactively via the authenticate_untappd tool or npx untappd-mcp-server auth (stored in ~/.untappd-mcp-server/token.json); UNTAPPD_USERNAME: Default username for authenticated user tools; UNTAPPD_REDIRECT_URL: OAuth redirect URL for interactive authentication — must exactly match the Callback URL registered in your Untappd app settings; default http://localhost:8737/callback; UNTAPPD_TOKEN_PATH: Override path for the saved token file; default ~/.untappd-mcp-server/token.json.

Before connecting

Check the maintainer’s instructions for account access, authentication and the supported client configuration. Once connected, inspect the tools your client receives and try a small task that matches the server’s stated purpose. The registry description does not include a verified, complete tool list.
