What is the Capgo CLI MCP Server?

Capgo CLI MCP runs on your computer and gives an assistant access to Capgo operations that depend on local project files. Choose it when a task includes uploading a built bundle, requesting a native build, or checking a project’s configuration.

Start the local connection

Authenticate with npx @capgo/cli@latest login, then launch the server with npx @capgo/cli@latest mcp. The command uses stdio, so your MCP client needs to support starting a local process. The configuration below follows Capgo’s documented example.

Work with an app and release

The documented operations include app, bundle, channel and organization management. Local tasks also include compatibility checks, diagnostics, statistics and native build requests. Select the intended app and inspect its current bundle before requesting an upload or channel change.

Choose the right Capgo connection

Use the hosted account server for account work from a remote chat client. The local CLI is needed when the assistant must work with files on this machine. Capgo’s separate public documentation endpoint provides reference material and does not grant account access.
