Bitcoin-native MCP server for AI agents: BTC/STX wallets, DeFi yield, sBTC peg, NFTs, and x402 payments.
Bitcoin-native MCP server for AI agents: BTC/STX wallets, DeFi yield, sBTC peg, NFTs, and x402 payments. Exposed over MCP by the aibtc mcp server, that capability becomes something an assistant can invoke while it works, not something you go and do afterwards.
The aibtc-bitcoin-wallet skill provides: - Structured workflows for Bitcoin L1 operations (balance, send, fees) - Reference guides for Pillar smart wallets and Stacks L2 DeFi - LLM-agnostic instructions that work with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and 20+ other tools
Everything the assistant can do here goes through one of these:
list_x402_endpoints — Discover x402 endpointsexecute_x402_endpoint — Execute x402 endpoint with auto-paymentscaffold_x402_endpoint — Generate x402 Cloudflare Worker projectscaffold_x402_ai_endpoint — Generate x402 AI API with OpenRouterYou will need 4 environment variables: NETWORK, CLIENT_MNEMONIC, OPENROUTER_API_KEY, HIRO_API_KEY. The server will not start without them, which is usually why the tools fail to appear on a first run. Keep credentials in your client's env block or a secrets manager rather than in a file you might commit.
The server ships on npm as @aibtc/mcp-server, so your MCP client can launch it on demand — there is no separate build step. Add the server block to your client's configuration, restart it, and the tools register themselves.
This sits in the payments and commerce group, where several servers overlap in what they claim to do but differ sharply once you actually set them up. Aibtc's toolset — list_x402_endpoints, execute_x402_endpoint, scaffold_x402_endpoint and 1 more — is a fair guide to whether it matches your workflow. It is maintained by aibtcdev; worth a glance at recent repository activity before you build anything load-bearing on it.
We check each listing at SyncDev against the project's documentation before it goes live — if something here drifts out of date, it is a bug worth reporting.
