The MCP package is inside the Agent Commerce Framework repository. It exposes service discovery, service details, category browsing, service calls and balance lookup. Discover a suitable service first, then inspect its requirements and charge before requesting a paid call. A marketplace listing describes a provider's offer; it does not prove that the result suits your task.
The project documents the agentictrade-mcp console command for a local stdio client and a hosted Streamable HTTP route. Marketplace API credentials are separate from an assistant's model credentials. An API key uses the marketplace's key identifier and secret format, while a buyer identifier identifies the balance to query. Use the documented account flow to configure those values.
Start with discovery and service details. For a paid request, confirm the service, expected output and account spending allowance, then inspect the returned result and billing record. Balance queries and service purchases are different operations. The server gives an assistant an interface to the marketplace; account funding and permission to spend still come from the account owner.
