A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation for Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. This service provides a standardized interface for interacting with ADLS2 storage, enabling file operations through MCP tools.
Configuration is passed through the environment: LOG_LEVEL, UPLOAD_ROOT, DOWNLOAD_ROOT, AZURE_STORAGE_ACCOUNT_NAME, READ_ONLY_MODE, AZURE_STORAGE_ACCOUNT_KEY. Treat anything key-shaped as a real credential — scope it to the minimum the server needs, and rotate it if it ever lands in a shared config.
The server ships on PyPI as adls2-mcp-server, so your MCP client can launch it on demand — there is no separate build step. Add the server block to your client's configuration, restart it, and the tools register themselves.
